LUCA CIUT
Luca Ciut, an artist who likes to measure himself with very different musical styles and registers, has spaced his production between films, documentaries, advertisements and solo projects, standing out on every occasion for its high creative level and undisputed originality.
It happened with the soundtrack of Dancing with Maria, awarded in 2014 at the Venice Film Festival, where the Trieste-born author has been able to mix orchestral elements and Argentine folk tradition to narrate the life of Maria Fux proposed by the director Ivan Gergolet.
Again with Easy - un viaggio facile facile, the film by Andrea Magnani awarded with two nominations at the David di Donatello 2018, where he managed to highlight the surreality of the film through country ballads and spaghetti-western flavors.
And also with Resina by Renzo Carbonera, where in the music sheets, he brought together choral pieces, cello, electronic music and tribal elements.
This latest work earned him the 2019 Golden Globe nomination for best soundtrack.
